March 1st saw the opening of the M Hotel and Casino. While not technically on the strip, the M is on the southern end of Las Vegas Blvd, at St. Rose Parkway.
Beyond its initial staffing, the new hotel has just added an additional 200 jobs, much needed in the local economy.
